DESCRIPTION:The Division of Prevention and Health Promotion (PHP) of WHO/Eu
 rope\, Universit&eacute\; C&ocirc\;te d&rsquo\;Azur and Ulysseus European 
 University\, are now accepting applications for the 2026 summer school &ld
 quo\;Systems thinking and innovation for the prevention of noncommunicable
  diseases (NCDs) and a healthy ageing population in the WHO European Regio
 n&rdquo\;. The summer school explores the theory and use of systems thinki
 ng and systems-based approaches to tackle the complex challenges of NCDs a
 nd their risk factors. Its aim is to build participants&rsquo\; capacity a
 nd expertise to apply systems-based methods for problem-solving and innova
 tion\, and to translate these methods into practical strategies that advan
 ce NCD prevention and promote healthy ageing. Participants can expect a co
 mbination of interactive learning\, hands-on exercises and project-based w
 ork\, including the opportunity to apply systems thinking approaches to th
 eir own projects\, ensuring that learning is directly relevant to their pr
